Okay so I absolutely love cooking. It's probably one of my favorite things. So I figured I could share some of my recipes with you guys. I made this gem for my family last night. Unfortunately, I didn't get any but they said it was DELICIOUS.
Makes 4 Large Burgers:
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 packages of ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (any flavor)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 package of low sodium bacon, cooked
First, you want to cook the bacon (then process it in the food processor until it is broken up into small pieces), dice the onion, and mix them in a bowl with the cheese. Next you want to pound the the beef into 8 thin patties. Put the bacon, onion, and cheese mixture onto 4 of the patties and then top with the remaining patties. You may cook these however you like, I grilled them. We paired the burgers with whole wheat buns, lettuce, ketchup and mustard.
Baked French Fries:
Ingredients:
- Potatoes, peeled
- Seasoning (I used - black pepper, dash of sea salt, and Mrs. Dash)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. For the fries you want to peel and cut the potatoes. You can either cut them in small strips or in wedges. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and olive oil. Place the fries into a bowl and mix in more olive oil until they are evenly coated. Sprinkle seasoning on the pan, spread the potatoes on the pan, and sprinkle another layer of seasoning. Bake until brown and crispy (you may have to broil them for the last few minutes to brown them).
ENJOY!
